Theobroma's City Debut Gives Kolkata a Taste of the Brand

News Desk, News Nation 360: The Mumbai-born legendary patisserie chain Theobroma, famous across the country for its signature brownie desserts, has officially expanded into Eastern India by launching their first two stores in Salt Lake (Sector 1) and New Alipore, Kolkata on 30th October 2026. The launches were announced by Chief Executive Officer Rishi Gour along with renowned Bengali actress Sauraseni Maitra. The new full-service stores will allow customers to enjoy the Theobroma menu of freshly baked daily desserts in-store, to take away or deliver. Customers can enjoy the popular Overload & Millionaire Brownies, Dutch Truffle cake, Tiramisu, handmade cookies, fresh savouries, sandwiches and bespoke gift hampers. Speaking about the launch in Kolkata, which comes after huge regional demand and social media hype, CEO Rishi Gour said, "Kolkata is a perfect fit for Theobroma. We are excited to open our first stores in Salt Lake and New Alipore to begin our journey in the region."
