47th Durga Puja of Golf Green Phase–I Durgotsab Samity & Soroshi

News Desk, News Nation 360: Organizing its 47th annual Sharodiya Durga Puja this year, the South Kolkata Golf Green Phase-I Durgotsab Samity & Soroshi marked the festival under the theme “Purity in every offering” with a focus on heartfelt devotion, communal warmth and inclusive social recognition by honoring some of the region’s most accomplished specially-abled athletes at the paara pandal that has a concept of a traditional Bengali joint family to create an ambience of introspection and convivial atmosphere, according to president Samir Raychaudhury who said that the community gathering which witnessed the participation of para-taekwondo national medallist Suman Mukherjee, international para-badminton player Indrajit Pal, blind cricket and football state awardees Sangita Metya and former Bengal blind cricket team captain Tanumoy Bhowmik along with sports mentors Piyush Mohan Shukla, Gautam Dey and broadcaster Jimmy Tangree has always remained committed to simplicity, camaraderie and providing a platform to acknowledge the perseverance of the international grade specially-abled athletes who participate with utmost devotion and the true spirit of Durga Puja lies in collective empathy and not ostentation.
