News Desk, News Nation 360 : The 55th edition of the esteemed Statesman Vintage and Classic vehicle Rally was announced by The Statesman, the organiser of the nation's oldest vintage vehicle rally, during a press conference in Kolkata. An Antique car was on display at the venue as a show-stopper attraction, adding to the occasion and giving the media a peek into the grandeur and legacy associated with the legendary rally. The 55th edition of the rally will take place at the Royal Calcutta Turf Club (RCTC) Ground on January 11, 2026, bringing Kolkata back to the heyday

of motoring. It is anticipated that 50 two-wheelers and over 160 antique and classic cars will take part, making it a spectacular celebration of automotive history and classic engineering. At 9:10 a.m., the rally will begin at the RCTC Polo Ground. Legendary names, including Triumph, Studebaker, Chevrolet, Dodge, and DeSoto, as well as well-known British companies like Austin, Morris, and MG, will be on display at the event, showcasing the rich legacy of worldwide automotive history. The 55th Statesman Vintage and Classic Car Rally, which honours workmanship, legacy, and the timeless appeal of vintage cars, offers a nostalgic and breathtaking trip through time. Addressing the media, Gobinda Mukherjee, Business Head - East India, The Statesman, stated that participants are not required to pay a participation fee. The rally's goal is to give owners of vintage and classic cars a stage on which to display their valuable belongings and preserve automotive history. The Statesman Vintage and Classic Auto Rally is still the oldest rally of its sort in the nation, even though auto exhibitions are frequently staged.
