Bonganari Samman 2025 Honoured the Legacy of Women's Power

News Desk, News Nation 360 : Recently, the fourth annual "Redwine Bonganari Samman" to honour the strength of women took place in Kolkata. This ambitious project seeks to honour the accomplishments of strong, tough, and brave Bengali women who are trailblazers in their communities. Joint Commissioner Anupam Halder and distinguished model and actress Sathi Sarkar presented the award to Anamika Saha. In this context, Anupam Halder remarked that it is a significant time in his life to be on stage next to a famous actress like Anamika Saha. The night turned into a grand carnival. Several prominent people were there, such as officials, artists, and cultural personalities. Key awardees of this year were Panchali Munshi (Halder), a WBCS Officer and Joint Commissioner, Revenue Department, Government of West Bengal. Anamika Saha, a veteran actress of Bengali cinema, was also awarded. Shashwati Guhathakurata, a TV and movie star, was given an award. Swagatalakshmi Dasgupta, a renowned artist in modern and classical music, was honoured. Chaiti Ghoshal, a famous theatre and film actress, was also awarded. 13 other eminent Bengali women were also honoured for their contributions in social service, education, literature, medicine, and entrepreneurship. The occasion was lively with light, shadow, music, and theatrical performances. Speeches and emotions melted into an unforgettable cultural evening. This award indicates great regard and admiration for the women of Bengal. The occasion reinforced the fact that women can be an uncompromising force not only within families, but within all aspects of society and the country. This beaming endeavour will certainly encourage many women in the years to come.
