News Desk, News Nation 360: After a two-day extravaganza on June 27 and 28, 2026, at the esteemed Sattavis Patidar Centre in Wembley, London, the third edition of London Mahotsav 2026—widely regarded as the largest Indian-Bengali cultural funfair in the UK—came to a spectacular conclusion. Prominent international dignitaries, including Brent Mayor Cllr Amer Agha, Harrow Mayor Cllr Yogesh Teli, Harrow Mayoress Neela Teli, and former UK Member of Parliament Virendra Sharma, joined Candid Communication Directors Sayantan Das Adhikari and Nabamita Das Adhikari to officially launch the high-profile festival, which was organised by Candid Communication UK and powered by Jac Olivol. The carnival attracted thousands of visitors from across the United Kingdom and Europe, treating them to an extraordinary musical lineup featuring icons Shrabani Sen, Rupankar Bagchi, Poushali Banerjee, Soumitra Roy (Bhoomi), Sidhu (Cactus), and Tathagata Sengupta, alongside a historic theatrical milestone marking the first-ever joint UK

stage performance of legendary actors Kaushik Sen and Debshankar Haldar in the play Prothom Partha, supported by Arindam Sil, Anjana Basu, and Raya Bhattacharya Veteran journalist Gautam Bhattacharya moderated the Banglar Derby session, which featured football legends Prasanta Banerjee, Manas Bhattacharya, Bhaskar Ganguly, and Chima Okorie. Meanwhile, Tuhinaa Pandey's Matrimaa, a maternal beauty pageant, attracted contestants who travelled straight from India. Chefs Sandeep, Rohit, and Sujit of Tangerine and traditional confectioners Hindustan Sweets enhanced the culinary experience as foodies flocked to the Food Utsav pavilion to savour authentic Kolkata Biryani brought to London for the first time by Aminia's Kabir Azhar and Asher Ather, along with an interactive food panel featuring culinary influencer Indrajit Lahiri (Foodka). Supported by major institutional partners including State Bank of India (SBI) UK as Banking Partner, Lykstage as Goodwill Partner, OFFER Hospital as India Charity Partner, and creative marketplace stalls like Suta, B.N. Ghanty, and Priyontor, the international homecoming festival successfully established a permanent socioeconomic and cultural bridge connecting West Bengal's finest literature, business, and artistry directly with the global South Asian diaspora.
