News Desk, News Nation 360: The chief executive officer of Flipkart Group, Kalyan Krishnamurthy, met with West Bengal Chief Minister Shri Suvendu Adhikari at a high-level corporate meeting on X to discuss a comprehensive technology-driven growth agenda that aims to establish the state as an absolute premier hub for digital commerce, youth entrepreneurship, and massive employment generation. The strategic e-commerce consultation focused on implementing cutting-edge technology architectures to increase immediate pan-India market access for regional MSMEs, rural artisans, farmers, food processing units, and early-stage tech startups, acknowledging that West Bengal currently houses Flipkart's largest micro-fulfilment infrastructure in India. Krishnamurthy emphasised that Flipkart will actively collaborate with the Government of West Bengal to establish specialised digital skilling pipelines, optimise grassroots agricultural and manufacturing supply chains, and create highly sustainable, high-volume economic opportunities to structurally empower local businesses and the state's workforce, underscoring the company's long-term operational commitment to investment in the state.
