News Desk, News Nation 360 : The 5th Leaderpreneurship Annual Conclave was successfully conducted by the CII - Indian Women Network (IWN) in West Bengal, with the intriguing topic "Accelerating Competitiveness: Reimagining Prosperity through Sustainable Economies." The conclave remains a prominent venue dedicated to promoting leadership, entrepreneurship, innovation, and women's empowerment. The event was graced by Dr Shashi Panja, Hon’ble Minister of Commerce & Industries, Government of West Bengal, as the Chief Guest, and Swami Sarvapriyananda Maharaj, Revered Monk of the Ramakrishna Order and Minister, Vedanta Society of New York; Alapan Bandyopadhyay, IAS (Retd.), Chief Advisor to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal & Chairman, West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation (WBIDC); and R Venkatesh, Group COO, Narayana Health, as Guests of Honour. The conclave, which was attended by a distinguished group of industry leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers, academicians, start-up founders, and women professionals, included engaging and thought-provoking sessions on leadership, sustainability, skill development, innovation, and women's evolving roles in defining future economies. Speaking at the event, Smita Chatterji, Chairperson, CII-IWN West Bengal, emphasised the network's vision of developing women leaders who are not only successful professionals but also changemakers and contributors to long-term growth. Swagata Guha Mustafi, Vice Chairperson, CII-IWN West Bengal, emphasised the significance of creating an

ecosystem that allows women to create, scale, and lead confidently. Dr Shashi Panja also discussed the progress made by women-led MSMEs in Bengal, which has the second-highest number in India. She emphasised the success of micro-enterprises, particularly in handloom, muslin, and small-scale manufacturing, led by female entrepreneurs who have had access to capital, training, and government assistance.
