Imaging Orthopods organised the Fifth Annual Photography Exhibition

News Desk, News Nation 360: The 5th Annual Photography Exhibition by Imaging Orthopods, a group of senior orthopaedic surgeons straight out of Bengal, is on display at the Birla Academy of Art & Culture in Kolkata. It is not often that medical practitioners are allowed to show their artistic side, and this is an opportunity to view photographs of nature, human interest, and the watchful eyes of surgeons. The exhibition is in memory of Dr Gautam Basu, who was a beloved member of this group and still inspires them with his work. The photographs are by well-known surgeons such as Dr Indrajit Sardar, Dr Aniruddha Kirtania, Dr Bhaskar Das, Dr Arnab Kundu, Dr Kunal Sengupta, Dr Chinmay Nath, Dr Abhijit Sarbabadhikary, Dr Malay Mandal,

and Dr Debasis Chatterjee. The event was attended by glittering personalities on the opening night, including Anjan Dutta (singer and filmmaker), Mir Afsar Ali (host and voice artist), Chandan Sen and Subhasish Mukherjee (actors), Debashis Sen (Principal Secretary, WB Government), and Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha (retd.). By combining the precision of their work with the fluidity of photography, Imaging Orthopods is changing the perception of medical practitioners as more than just doctors.
