IIT Kharagpur Wins the 2026 BCC&I-GNIT Technology Quiz

News Desk, News Nation 360: The winning team, comprising members Samyak Sheersh and Aditya Pal, both from IIT Kharagpur, has been announced as the winner of the 15th BCC&I–GNIT Technology Quiz 2026. This year, the inter-college fest, held at the Guru Nanak Institute of Technology (GNIT) in Sodepur, has seen participation from over 60 institutions across West Bengal. Arun Majumder from GNIT and Sneha Santra from Techno Main Salt Lake/TBIT shared the second spot, while the third spot was taken by another team from IIT Kharagpur. This quiz, held under the technical co-partnership of C-DAC, tested the students’ knowledge of emerging technologies, analytical skills, and awareness of recent developments. This year, the fest has been attended by prominent figures such as Dr. Neeraj Saxena, Pro-Chancellor of JIS University, and Mr. Sambit Dasgupta, Deputy Director of BCC&I. Speaking about the fest, Sardar Simarpreet Singh, Director of JIS Group, stated, “The platform is created to encourage the students’ quest for knowledge and hone their analytical skills to face the challenges of the constantly changing world of technology.” This victory adds to the long list of IIT Kharagpur’s supremacy in the world of quizzing.
