Doctors of Fortis Anandapur Emphasise the Importance of Screening and Early Detection in Saving Lives at a Cancer Awareness Health Talk

More than fifty members of the media attended the event, which had as its goal educating the public about cancer prevention, early detection, and medical advancements in treatment. The emphasis of the entire discussion focused on the consequences of delayed diagnosis and detection, coupled with the necessity to increase awareness about it, particularly within the rural regions of the country, with the help of screenings and lifestyle changes that tend to reduce the potential threat of cancer in large numbers. The importance of medical oncology, gynaecology, and urology, all being present in the discussion, provided a wide perspective of the current situation with regard to dealing with the threat of cancer in the country.
