News Desk, News Nation 360 : With great zeal and festive fervour, Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management (GNIHM), a JIS Group Educational Initiative, hosted its annual Traditional Cake Mixing Ceremony, "Merry Mixing," on its campus to usher in the pleasure and warmth of the Christmas season. This year's celebration was made even more lively by the holding of the Annual Cake Decoration Competition, one of GNIHM's most anticipated student activities. The competition saw passionate participation from aspiring chefs, who demonstrated exceptional creativity, technical skill, and originality through their exquisite cake designs. The tournament provided a solid platform for students to showcase their culinary skills in a highly competitive setting. The colourful, day-long celebration was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Arjuna Awardees Santi Mullick and Debashish Biswas, and Prof. (Dr.) Pralay Ganguly, Principal, GNIHM; Indrani Sanyal, HoD, Housekeeping Department, Woodlands Hospital; the Principal of Khalsa Model School; the Principal of St. Augustine's Day School, along with members of the senior management of GNIHM, several chefs and culinary artists, prominent food vloggers, and distinguished Their presence gave enormous value to the event, inspiring and motivating students to excel in their trade. Speaking on the occasion, Sardar Simarpreet Singh, Director, JIS Group, stated that GNIHM believes in holistic learning that goes beyond textbooks. Events such as 'Merry Mixing' allow their students to connect with culinary traditions, hone their practical abilities, and appreciate the cultural roots of festive cuisine, all while celebrating the spirit of community.
