News Desk, News Nation 360: Shri R. N. Ravi, West Bengal Governor, paid a visit to Adhigam Bhoomi, the Centre of Excellence, which has been set up by the non-profit organisation Help Us Help Them (HUHT) from Kolkata, to understand a model of experiential learning through which NEP 2020 is being implemented. The Governor interacted with 1000 rural and tribal girls who have been provided free residential education and toured the live classrooms of the learning model based on "Roti (Agriculture), Kapda (Textile), Makaan (Rural Architecture), renewable energy, technology and entrepreneurship" where hands-on vocational skills are incorporated into academic subjects. Based on the philosophy of "Apni Mitti Se Judi Shiksha", the founder of HUHT, Mukti Gupta, explained that the project aims to create a replicable roadmap for integration of skill-centric education with the government school syllabus across India by 2031 and help achieve the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
