ICAI Held Convocation Ceremony at 13 Locations Across the Country

News Desk, News Nation 360 : ICAI received the esteemed Governor's Award of Excellence from the Honourable Governor of West Bengal. To award certificates of membership to recently qualified chartered accountants and honour rank holders, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) held a lavish Convocation Ceremony concurrently in several venues in India. On February 6, 11 centres—New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ghaziabad, Ahmedabad, Pune, Indore, and Jaipur—conducted the Convocation. On February 7, Chandigarh and Ludhiana will host their events. 19,075 recently enrolled chartered accountants earned their diplomas at this esteemed ceremony, signalling the start of their careers. CA. Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal, President, ICAI congratulated the newly enrolled Chartered Accountants and stated that one is the future leader of financial integrity as young chartered accountants, charged with promoting openness, sound governance, and economic development. One's expertise, honesty, and commitment make one the ideal candidate to shape the nation's financial environment and fortify its financial ecosystem. At the convocation, which started at the same time in all locations, Chief Guest (Dr.) C.V. Ananda Bose, Hon'ble Governor, West Bengal, spoke from Kolkata. CA. Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal, President, ICAI, and CA. Charanjot Singh Nanda, Vice President, ICAI, joined from New Delhi to encourage the new graduates as they set out on a path of excellence and integrity. Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) was Honoured with the prestigious Governor's Award of Excellence By His Excellency Governor of West Bengal This outstanding award celebrates its meritorious services to the profession, outstanding contributions to establishing the highest levels of ethical practices and nation-building. ICAI is India's first-ever professional regulatory body that has so far received such prestigious recognition, which, no doubt has gone down the pages of its glorious history. The prize includes a citation, a trophy, and a ₹1,00,000 cash award. Besides, the rank holders of this year's top three were also awarded the Governor's Award of Excellence for outstanding achievements, diligent work, and dedication to excellence. Each one of these prizes consists of a citation, a trophy, and a cash prize of ₹25,000.
