IIFD Kolkata Honours Modern Design and Tradition at Calcutta Times Fashion Week 2026

styles that reinterpret traditional themes for the modern audience. The event was held in a classy Kolkata hotel with actress Madhumita Sarcar as the VIP guest for the event. Also in attendance were several Kolkata influencers. According to the Chairperson Vimi Vansil and Campus Director Shikha Agarwal, the display is a reflection of the IIFD’s goal to nurture “creative thinkers” who celebrate the country’s rich cultural legacy while promoting innovation.
