Expanding upon the popularity of the 42 and 42 Bobber, the 350 Jawa 42 FJ inaugurates a thrilling new phase for the "42 Life" concept, honouring a dedication to exceptional design and an unmatched riding experience. By giving the consumers in the city the keys, the company also started the first round of delivery of the new motorbike. Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles aims to take its touchpoint count in West Bengal to over 20 by the end of this fiscal year with 13 already operating in the state. The brand has partnered with Flipkart to enhance the digital consumer experience, marking a significant move in India's premium motorcycle market. In celebration of tradition and sustainability through innovation, Jawa Yezdi partnered with Onyo Pujo this Durga Pujo, organized by Make Calcutta Relevant Again in association with Y-East and Hulladek. As part of the initiative, JYM donated old motorcycle parts to create a 100 KG chandelier specially designed by Shamaun Ahmed to be the centrepiece of Offbeat CCU near Science City Auditorium. The Jawa 42 FJ is a neo-classic motorcycle with a stunning design language, featuring anodised, brushed aluminium fuel tank cladding, aluminium headlamp holder and grab handles, and aluminium footpegs. Its iconic curves, distinctive silhouette, and off-set fuel cap pay homage to its rich legacy, while modern features like an upswept exhaust, all-LED lighting, and a digital instrument cluster enhance the riding experience. Powered by the new cutting-edge 350 Alpha2 engine, the 42 FJ delivers impressive performance with its 29.2 PS and 29.6 Nm, engineered for unmatched acceleration, smart gear-based mapping, and a slick six-speed gearbox with A&S clutch technology. The 42 FJ is engineered on a double cradle frame for superior handling, paired with a long, 1440 mm wheelbase for enhanced highway stability and control. With a segment-leading 178 mm ground clearance, the FJ is big on go-anywhere adventures. The dual-channel ABS, combined with larger disc brakes, delivers precise stopping power. The 42 FJ is the newest edition in the brand's Neo-Classic lineup, joining the popular 42 and 42 Bobber. The Jawa 42 FJ is available in a range of premium colours, with prices starting from Rs. 2,02,142 (ex-showroom West Bengal).
