News Desk, News Nation 360 : At a lively showcase event at Kolkata Police Training School, the British Council, the UK's international organisation for educational opportunities and cultural exchange, in collaboration with the Premier League and Kolkata Police, successfully wrapped up the last phase of the Premier League Primary Stars (PLPS) program. To help kids acquire the life skills they need to succeed, this program helps teachers establish a safe and encouraging learning environment where kids can participate in and enjoy more sports and physical activity. A showpiece event marked the culmination of a ten-month training project for 30 Nabadisha centre teachers across the city. The teachers took part in three face-to-face courses that prepared them with innovative coaching methods, practical classroom techniques, and tools to conduct high-standard Physical Education (PE) and Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE) classes to disadvantaged children. The event had interesting activities for kids and a certificate ceremony. Participants present were Pandey Santosh, Additional Commissioner of Police IV, Kolkata; Subhankar Bhattacharya, IPS, Joint Commissioner of Police (AP), Kolkata; Partha Chakraborty, Deputy Commissioner of Police (II), Kolkata; Andrew Fleming, British Deputy High Commissioner, Kolkata; and Rittika Chanda Parruck, Director Education, India, British Council. The event was an expression of celebration for the dedication of the British Council, Premier League, and Kolkata Police to creating inclusive learning spaces and educational equality through their creative collaboration.
