News Desk, News Nation 360 : Recently, St. Paul's Cathedral hosted the Mentaid Sunday. The serene sounds of songs, music, and dancing performed by Mentaid's students and young adults filled the Cathedral's hallowed grounds. To the song "I came before you today, and there's just one thing that I want to say…Thank you Lord!" they danced as a group. A collective song called "Tu Hi meri Manzil, Tu hi Meri Puja!" came next. The Mentaid's song marked the end of their program. The Sunday morning event at the Cathedral included performances by the Mentaid youngsters. Mentaid Sunday is a yearly event that aims to raise spiritual and cultural awareness in the community. Mentaid, the state's earliest registered Parents' Organisation, has dedicated 40 years to serving children and young people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism,

cerebral palsy, and multiple disabilities. From its modest beginnings with two children in 1985, Mentaid has impacted over 1,000 children and their families, always keeping inclusive, community-focused interactions at the fore. In cooperation with St. Paul's Cathedral, Mentaid also continues to raise awareness, involvement, and acceptance of disability inclusion. Mentaid Sunday is a unique service during which individuals with disabilities perform their talents through songs and dance, accompanied by an exhibition of goods produced by trainees from Mentaid's Vocational Training Centre (VTC). Breakfast food was on sale, with all proceeds to Mentaid. The gathering this year once again saw active participation, affirming a collective commitment to empowerment and inclusion.
