News Desk, News Nation 360 : Leading Indian real estate company Merlin Group is pleased to announce the second iteration of Merlin Green Frames, a live nature photography competition that aims to showcase the beauty of nature and encourage environmental preservation. The tournament, which is slated for November 10 at Merlin Greens, close to IIM Joka in Kolkata, encourages photographers and environment lovers to document the flora and animals in the verdant surroundings of Aquaville and Ibiza the Fern Resort & Spa. The Merlin Group is organizing a photography contest focusing on nature and wildlife. The event will feature workshops led by experts from the Indian Photographic Academy, providing valuable insights and techniques for photographers of all skill levels. The contest is divided into five categories: Landscape, Macro, Birds, Flora & Fauna, and Life in Action. The previous year's event witnessed the spotting of unique bird species like the Cormorant, Asian Open Bill, and Purple Sunbird. This year, the organizers anticipate even more remarkable captures of local and migratory birds. The top ten winners will be awarded cash prizes, trophies, and gifts at the gala award ceremony on December 8th. Former Divisional Forest Officer, South 24 Parganas & Current Joint Director, JICA, Forest Department, Govt of West Bengal Milan Mandal, renowned film director and professor Subha Das Mollick, and Sayan Choudhury, Founder of the Indian Photographic Academy, were all present at a formal event where Sushil Mohta, Chairman, Merlin Group, announced the second edition of Merlin Green frames 2024. In addition, Sandipan Mukherjee, a well-known photographer and author of the highly regarded books "On Broken Trails" and "Gangasagar," attended the launch. He will serve as the competition's coach and judge.
