News Desk, News Nation 360 : The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has released Bharat Interface for Money (BHIM) 3.0 through its fully owned subsidiary, NPCI BHIM Services Limited (NBSL). Senior executives from the banking and fintech sectors, as well as Ajay Kumar Choudhary, Non-Executive Chairman and Independent Director, NPCI, were present as Reserve Bank of India Executive Director Vivek Deep introduced the application and services. BHIM 3.0 is the third edition of the BHIM app. It was originally introduced in 2016 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The new BHIM 3.0 app is simpler to operate and comprehend. It has additional languages. Users can operate it in over 15 Indian languages. It works perfectly in networks with slow internet. It is made to perform transactions smoothly even in slow networks. The app now assists in handling money more effectively. It now has new features to monitor spending. Users can also split expenses and manage them easily. For consumers, there are a few new useful features. Users can now divide bills with family and friends. This applies to dining out or rent payments. Users can also use Family Mode. This allows users to include family members in the app. People can see how much everyone spends together and can also dictate who pays for what. This assists families with budgeting their money. It categorizes spending into various groups for its users. This assists in seeing where users are spending money. There is also an Action Needed feature. This is similar to an assistant that reminds users of the bills that are due for payment through the BHIM app. It will also prompt to enable UPI Lite and inform whether the UPI Lite balance is low. For companies selling products online, there is a new service named BHIM Vega. This allows customers to pay in the BHIM app itself. They do not have to open any other application to pay.
