News Desk, News Nation 360 : For several years, the Mansi Research Foundation has worked to advance, broaden, and enhance Bengali education and culture. The organization's goal is to revive Bengal's lost culture by fusing the ancient with the new. Mansi Research Foundation's venture, Rupkatha, paid respect to great personalities in Bengali education, culture, entertainment, and social service by way of the prestigious Rupkatha Sharad Samman. The eagerly awaited gathering was scheduled on October 30 in Srinath Hall of Bharat Sevashram Sangh. The discussion on the Bengali language and culture in the evening was presented by such well-known personalities as Shamik Swapan Ghosh, Soumitra Basu, and Sujata Mukhopadhyay. The radio jockey Rampada Pahari moderated the session quite well. The event had an attraction in the Lifetime Achievement Award presented to Swami Biswatmanandaji Maharaj, General Secretary of Bharat Sevashram Sangh. It also awarded the Rupkatha Award to some of the distinguished personalities - prominent actors, filmmakers, educators, social workers, and cultural activists. The programme was not merely for achievements but also a cultural performance event. Renowned personalities like Shankar Ghosh, Swapan Bose, and Aruna Naskar mesmerized the audience with their melodious voices. Actress Tanima Sen also reflected her presenting prowess through elaborate speech, and other awardees spoke about their inspiring journeys, promising to continue their contributions to Bengali culture and society. Saikat Halder, the executive editor of Rupkatha magazine, thanked all the awardees and participants. He said that Bengali culture and language have a lot of significance in India. Every person must take part in growing and developing them.
