Speaking on the occasion, Rajeev Ankireddypalli, Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Sonoco, stated that Hyderabad provides the ideal setting for our new hub because of its vibrant technological ecosystem. This facility will advance Sonoco's technological capabilities and sustainability aims by giving local professionals a platform to work on revolutionary projects and directly contribute to global initiatives. Sonoco has invested $10 million into its new state-of-the-art Performance Hub facility in Hyderabad, putting the city at the fore of its worldwide strategy and benefiting from its high-performing technology ecosystem. The facility, staffed with enhanced training facilities, collaborative areas, and cutting-edge IT infrastructure, will concentrate on applying data analysis, automation, and new technology to drive the innovation of packaging design and manufacturing. Sonoco also seeks to build future leaders in the hub, in line with its people-focused philosophy. The company will hire around 300 technologists in the next 12-18 months, increasing to 500 in three years. This will create a pipeline for local talent to work on global projects, linking India's technical know-how to Sonoco's global operations.
