SERVES FOR NATION

News Desk, News Nation 360 : By recognising the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and their unparalleled bravery and selfless commitment to the country, SPK Jain Futuristic Academy celebrated the holy holiday of Rakshabandhan in a way that was particularly poignant. One of India's most revered holidays, Rakshabandhan, represents the enduring love and protective ties between siblings. Rakshabandhan, which translates to "the tie or knot of protection," is a custom that encompasses cousins, extended family, and even close acquaintances in addition to biological siblings. As a sign of their love and devotion, brothers promise to safeguard and assist their sisters for the rest of their lives, and sisters tie a rakhi to their brothers, wishing them health and happiness. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Jayeeta Ganguly, Principal of SPK Jain Futuristic Academy, shared that their children showed their love, appreciation, and deep respect for the NDRF personnel as the unwavering guardians of their nation this Rakshabandhan by tying handmade rakhis to them. In a heartfelt act, the students constructed lovely handcrafted rakhis and tied them to the brave protectors' wrists while sincerely praying for their longevity, safety, and well-being. There was a great sense of thankfulness, love, and respect in the air.
