News Desk, News Nation 360: Adika Productions has announced the upcoming Bengali feature film Rahu produced by Aditya Ashok and directed by Souvik Pandit from his original story that introduces the atmospheric 'Monsoon Noir' genre to Bengali cinema, as the psychological and supernatural thriller revolves around the central protagonist Raktim (played by popular television and film actor Gourab Roy Chowdhury) whose life is upended on the wake of a nocturnal occult event only to realize he awakens a primal monstrous curse within himself amidst gruesome murders gripping the city compelling his dark vigilante dilemma hunting the urban criminals lurking in the shadows. Rounding out a multifaceted ensemble cast that includes Prantika Das, Soumi Chatterjee, Sudip Mukherjee, Rohit Mukherjee, Pradip Dhar, Raju Majumder, Debparna Chakraborty, and Alok Das, the production will infuse elements of romance, mystery, and occult suspense, set to an original background score and songs composed by the musical duo Iman and Soumodeep.
