The New Megaserial Nader Nimai is Launched by Aakash Aath

News Desk, News Nation 360: Nader Nimai, a significant new devotional mega-serial that chronicles the pious journey, teachings, and spiritual awakening of the famous 16th-century saint, mystic, and social reformer Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, has been formally announced by Aakash Aath, one of Bengal's top General Entertainment Channels (GEC). The daily soap opera, which has its premiere today, June 29, 2026, will air every Monday through Saturday at 7:00 PM. It tells the story of a smart, mischievous Nimai Pandit in 15th-century Nabadwip who transforms into a widely respected spiritual leader. Directed by veteran filmmaker Sushanta Basu, the meticulously researched production features actors Ranit Basu, Arian Pratim Maity, and Safalya Debnath portraying Nimai across different life stages, supported by an ensemble cast including Bodhisattwa Majumdar as Advaita Acharya, Soumi Banerjee as Sachi Mata, and Arindam Chatterjee as Jagannath. Written by Geeta Biswas, Writam Ghoshal, and Sayan Chowdhury, the historical screenplay clearly emphasises Mahaprabhu's revolutionary teachings of human equality, non-discrimination, and universal love. Aakash Aath Director Priyanka Bardia highlighted that Nader Nimai is a heartfelt homage to a philosophical titan whose historical sacrifices and unwavering pursuit of divine truth remain profoundly relevant to contemporary audiences across all generations, reflecting on the network's legacy of providing culturally rich family content.
