SERVES FOR NATION
News Desk, News Nation 360 : To advance to the national finals, Fortis Hospital, Anandapur, competed against other schools in the zone at the Zonal Finals of the eighth edition of its National Psychology quiz program, "PSYCH-ED, 2025." Under the direction of Dr. Samir Parikh, Chairperson of the Fortis National Mental Health Program at Fortis Healthcare Limited, the test was planned and carried out. The quiz's goal is to teach while making sure that the material is interesting and enjoyable for the students. More than 900 schools participated in the eighth edition of Fortis Healthcare's nationally recognised annual psychology test for schoolchildren, known as Psych-ED, which was held earlier today. When the online version of Psych-ED became live, over 12,000 people from more than 190 Indian cities took the test at the same time. The purpose of the quiz is to assess pupils in Classes XI and XII's understanding of psychology and related principles. GD Goenka University, Project CACA, Rupa Publications, and Adayu, a Fortis group firm, provided funding for PsychED 2025. Psych-ED has developed into a premier national event throughout the years, bringing together schools from tiny towns, major metropolises, and other countries to provide an open forum for education and dialogue. Speaking on this unique initiative, Dr Samir Parikh, stated that their program's overarching goal is to raise awareness, lessen the stigma associated with mental health, and pique schoolchildren's interest in psychology. By combining knowledge and enjoyment, the quiz provides a fun and interesting learning experience. One of the few healthcare organisations in the nation that prioritises young sensitisation and mental health education is Fortis Healthcare.
