SERVES FOR NATION

News Desk, News Nation 360: Woodlands Multispeciality Hospital recently concluded the third consecutive year of its flagship community outreach event, ‘Khudeder Puja Safar’, taking twenty young children on a specially curated Durga Puja Parikrama across Kolkata on Chaturthi to witness the festive grandeur that Bengal’s biggest cultural celebration has to offer. Beginning their day at the hospital premises, where the kids joined in with the inauguration of the hospital’s in-house Durga idol along with the Managing Director & CEO of the hospital, Rupak Barua, the day out saw these young ones being taken around Kolkata’s marquee pandals to soak in the city’s popular art installations, architectural themes and lighting displays. This outreach initiative by Woodlands is an extension of Barua’s belief that while healthcare service excellence begins at the bedside, the hospital’s holistic philosophy of care and empathy encompasses bringing the community together, with shared festivities and human interactions as essential elements of the human experience.
