SERVES FOR NATION

News Desk, News Nation 360: Titan Company Limited introduced its own branded mechanical movement called Vetra and, as a debut, unveiled the new line Titan Automatics, with a modular Vetra 7A series at the core. Vetra was inspired by the Vedas, an ancient text, which speaks of time as a recurring cycle, and Tra, a tool that channels energy into mechanical power. The watches, powered by the in-house developed and manually assembled calibers, which have received the world-renowned certification NF S 81-513 and ISO 22810, are presented in four variations – Infinium (40 mm, 7A20+ caliber with a 3D-printed lacquer dial and a 72-hour power reserve, priced at ₹47,995), Dualis (42 mm, 7A37 caliber with a GMT hand and a 24-hour rotating internal bezel, priced at ₹52,995), Midnite (42 mm, 7A77 caliber with a dual-disc big date, priced at ₹52,995), Atrium (42 mm, 7A200-C caliber with an off-center seconds subdial, available in closed and open-heart variants, priced at ₹54,995) – all made from 316L stainless steel, with domed triple AR coated sapphire crystal and X1 Swiss Super-LumiNova. According to Rahul Shukla, VP & Chief Sales & Marketing Officer (Watches Division), the launch of the line, which will be available in Helios, select Titan World stores, and online, marks Titan’s entry into the world’s mechanical watchmaking elite and the beginning of the local movement-making ecosystem, as the brand offers watches at prices from ₹47,995 to ₹54,995.
