The Purvodaya Literary Festival 2025, a festival of words and ideas woven to revive literary passion and spark debate, will welcome over two lakh visitors from six Eastern Indian states, featuring a rich tapestry of author interactions, insightful panel discussions on literature, culture, and society, and lively cultural performances showcasing the region's rich cultural diversity, with the event highlight being the conferment of the Purvodaya Literary Excellence Award 2025 upon the renowned Amit Chaudhuri, a wordsmith master weaver whose literary heritage has enriched the world with eternal beauty and profound insight, thereby celebrating his legacy and paying homage to his immense contribution to literature.
