News Desk, News Nation 360 : West Bengal's Department of Information Technology and Electronics Secretary, Shubhanjan Das, recently stated that the state's administration will soon present a plan that will permit businesses to use its data centres to create artificial intelligence models at the 10th edition of TechMeet organised by Assocham. The Siliguri government data centre has a very "high computational capacity." Additionally, STPI is developing its own data centre, which will open for business this year. Situated on over 250 acres of land, Bengal's Silicon Valley is anticipated to create jobs for nearly 7,500 people and attract approximately Rs 30,000 crores in investment. He added that work was in full swing and that up to 41 companies had already taken land there. Additionally, the Secretary offered assistance to improve the State's ease of doing business. Manjit Nayak, Director, STPI, Kolkata, stated that STPI has established about 24 Centres for Entrepreneurship throughout the nation as a result of its special focus on the advancement of diverse technology sectors. More than 2,000 companies have previously benefited from our assistance, which has taken several forms, including financial support.
