News Desk, News Nation 360 : On World Heart Day, Jagannath Gupta Institute of Medical Sciences & Hospital successfully hosted its highly anticipated Cyclothon, raising awareness of heart health and the value of leading an active lifestyle. More than 200 bicycles enthusiastically participated in this year's event, which was in line with the global theme "Use Heart for Action." Starting from Prinsep Ghat, the Cyclothon began at 5:30 AM and travelled through important parts of Kolkata, such as Esplanade, Exide, Park Circus, and Golpark. It ended at Prinsep Ghat approximately at 6:10 AM. The Cyclothon was a component of the Jagannath Gupta Institute's continuous effort to
promote healthcare prevention. The event received recognition for its impact and for being well-organised, as it raised awareness of heart disease and the need for community action to combat it. More than 200 bikers took part, which served as a reminder of how important it is to get exercise regularly, especially to keep your heart healthy. Krishna Kumar Gupta, Highlighted the importance of the event and the role of such initiatives in raising awareness. He remarked that this Cyclothon is a powerful declaration of our commitment to heart health, not just a social event. Their goal in putting this event together is to raise awareness of the beneficial effects that even little actions, like regular exercise, can have on heart health. They sincerely thank all of the supporters and participants for their participation in this cause. Along with a number of the institute's renowned physicians, Shri Krishna Kumar Gupta, Chairman of the Jagannath Gupta Institute of Medical Sciences & Hospital, honoured the occasion. The purpose of the event was to raise awareness of heart health and to motivate individuals to maintain active lifestyles to prevent cardiovascular diseases, which are one of the main causes of death worldwide.
