Yuvraj Singh and Merlin Group Collaborate to Establish the Second Yuvraj Singh Centre of Excellence in Kolkata

News Desk, News Nation 360: Merlin Group has enhanced its sports content connection with cricket legend Yuvraj Singh by inaugurating the second Yuvraj Singh Centre of Excellence (YSCE) at the YSCE Club Arena located on Basanti Road, Bantalla (20 minutes from Science City). The YSCE, which has been running its high-performance cricket program at Merlin Rise – The Sports Republic in Rajarhat, has been training over 600 students since 2023, in addition to the Ronaldinho R10 Football Academy and upcoming programs by Michael Phelps Swimming and MMA Matrix by Tiger Shroff. The new centre in Bantalla offers a 10,000 sq. ft. air-conditioned indoor arena, 30,000 sq. ft. outdoor ground, residential accommodation for athletes, fitness centres, and dining facilities. YSCE Founder Yuvraj Singh and Merlin Group Managing Director Saket Mohta stated that after conducting an initial selection trial of more than 200 aspiring players, there would be six scholarship winners who had performed well in the trials, followed by trial rounds for professional cricket coaching across Eastern India.
