A Unity Festival: Together in Pride Promoted Inclusivity in Kolkata

News Desk, News Nation 360 : At the ibis Kolkata Rajarhat, Candid Communication hosted a Pride talk with the theme "Reflect, Empower, Unite!" The invitation-only event, "Together in Pride," honoured and uplifted the LGBTQ+ community and welcomed notable community members. Prominent dancer Sudarshan Chakraborty, designers Indroneel Mukherjee and Neelay Sengupta, RJ Arijit Mandal from Friends FM, and stylist Anupam Chatterjee were among the honoured guests. In addition to her distinguished attendance, Amita Mishra, General Manager of the ibis Kolkata Rajarhat, spoke with the media and offered her perspectives on the value of inclusivity and diversity in the hospitality sector. "Together in Pride" sought to establish a welcoming, safe environment where people from all backgrounds could unite to celebrate diversity, advance equality, and cultivate a feeling of community. Numerous performances, art exhibits, panel discussions, and activities about the LGBTQ+ community were included in the event. This group of accomplished people embodied a fusion of professional success, cultural diversity, and artistic brilliance. It functioned as a platform for showcasing the dynamic creative community of Kolkata and its accomplishments in the areas of dance, design, media, fashion, and hospitality. This event seeks to empower and encourage people to take constructive steps towards equality in addition to highlighting the value of accepting diversity. On the occasion, Paromita Ghosh, Director of Candid Communication, remarked that with "Together in Pride," they aimed to empower the present, consider the past, and come together for a brighter future. This occasion demonstrates their dedication to creating a more welcoming community.
