News Desk, News Nation 360 : Aditya Academy in Dumdum celebrated Halloween with a creative concept titled "Where West Meets East," which combined Western traditions with Indian cinema's storytelling legacy. The campus has transformed into a thriving hub of creativity and culture. Satyajit Ray's "Bhooter Raja Dilo Bor" inspired primary school kids to see Gupi Gayen Bagha Bayin in a good, imaginative way. They depicted how "good spirits" inspire courage, kindness, and creativity through music and drama, reminding everyone that Bengali mythology has its own humorous and intelligent ghosts as well. Middle School students demonstrated the Western side of Halloween with vibrant costumes, pumpkin décor and themed choreography. From vampires and witches to storybook ghosts and superheroes, they used imagination to make fear fun. Principal Anshu Sinha added that at Aditya Academy, their Halloween celebration is more than simply costumes and fun—it's about combining cultures and bringing the West and East together. They think that education must go beyond textbooks to foster creativity, social awareness, and overall growth in all students. The hallways featured a lovely blend of frightening and traditional art — clay jack-o'-lanterns with terracotta masks, spider webs braided with alpana motifs — to represent the event's cultural fusion.
