SERVES FOR NATION

News Desk, News Nation 360 : In addition to the Vintage & Modern Marvels Car Display, "Heritage in Motion," Tollygunge Club's Driving Range came to life as members and their families flocked to the much-anticipated Annual Tolly Pet Party. The celebration took place in a lively and joyous setting with great cuisine, passionate participation, and a strong sense of community spirit, thanks to the lovely winter weather. The Club's strong love for animals was once again demonstrated at the Tolly Pet Party. An enthusiastic audience applauded a fascinating array of furry, feathery, and other pets who competed in various categories. Highlights included adorable tales of rescued and adopted animals, creative fancy-dress entries, and extremely receptive pets. Moments of

happiness, laughing, and shared pride were created by the occasion, which eloquently highlighted the strong link between members and their companions. Running in parallel with the pet celebrations, the Vintage & Modern Marvels Car Display took visitors on a vivid journey through automotive history, showcasing more than 50 vintage and classic cars maintained by Club members, including a 1913 Stower C1, a 1930 Rolls-Royce limousine, a Bentley Mark VI, several Morris Minors, a 1987 Land Rover, classic Austin models and many other lovingly preserved machines that celebrated craftsmanship and motoring heritage across generations. Powerfully contrasting this was the first-time, large-scale inclusion of super and hypercars, with prominent collectors like Parveen Agarwal presenting a Rolls-Royce Spectre, Ferrari 296 GTS and Lamborghini Urus; Aryan Dhanadania bringing in a Lamborghini Huracán, Porsche 718 and BMW M5; and Sagar Poddar showcasing a Lamborghini Huracán EVO and BMW Z4, with standout contributions from Satyaprakash Kundu, who brought in a Porsche 911, Ferrari Roma Spider and another Ferrari 296 GTS, while Charitra Sharma presented the latest BMW M5 (2025), generating particular excitement among younger enthusiasts and Club members. Tollygunge Club President Songit Bagrodia and Club CEO Brigadier Ganapathy oversaw the twin showcases, which were executed flawlessly thanks to the leadership of Club members Billy Bose, who curated the vintage display, and Siddharth DebGupta, a champion equestrian and supercar enthusiast, who put together the modern performance lineup. A well-planned food buffet, nice weather, adorable pets, and a large turnout, together with the variety of vehicles—from modern supercars to century-old icons—combined to provide members with a laid-back, conversational atmosphere and an unforgettable, upbeat start to the new year.
