Bandhan Bank Goes Live with Collection of Goods and Services Tax (GST)

News Desk, News Nation 360: Recently, Bandhan Bank declared that it has opened up the ability to collect Goods and Services Tax (GST) from both its clients and non-clients online and offline. For Bank clients as well as other taxpayers, paying GST has now gotten simpler. Bandhan Bank is now present in 35 out of 36 states and UTs, serving more than 3.44 crore customers through a robust network of over 6300 banking outlets, across India. Customers of Bandhan Bank and other parties may use the bank's retail and corporate online banking facilities to quickly, easily, and conveniently pay their goods and services tax under this authorisation. Additionally, they can use cash, cheques or demand drafts to pay the tax at any bank location. Executive Director and Chief Business Officer of Bandhan Bank Rajinder Babbar commented on the development, saying, the start of GST revenue collections marks another significant milestone in their efforts to bring government services closer to their customers.
