Bangla ZEE5 Reveals the Song "Bheshe Jai" From Their Upcoming TAARKATA Original Series

News Desk, News Nation 360: The cast and crew of Bangla ZEE5's upcoming original action thriller "TAARKATA" gathered for a promotional event where the show's characteristic song, "Bheshe Jaai," was formally unveiled. Soumit Deb wrote and composed the song, which is designed to encapsulate the series' central emotional pulse. Kuntal De, who also shares lead vocal honours with Koushik Chakraborty, handled the musical production, programming, arrangements, and guitar tracking. GJ Storm finished the final mix and master. "TAARKATA," directed by Shamik Roy Choudhury, is set to debut exclusively on the platform on June 12, 2026. It is a compelling story that combines mystery, action, dark humour, and psychological intrigue. The story revolves around Agni, a disgraced former police officer who must face long-forgotten aspects of his past when he returns to his hometown to look into a mysterious death. Vikram Chatterjee plays the lead role of Agni in the high-end ensemble cast, which also represents a significant industry milestone, being the first film under the Vikram Chatterjee Films label. Priyanka Sarkar plays Chhanda, Joydip Mukherjee plays Ashok Chowdhury, Satyam Bhattacharya plays Bumba Bagchi, Ayush Das plays Tintin, and Meiyang Chang, a well-known actor, makes his formal debut in a Bengali language project as Dodo. The effort is in line with the network's ongoing commitment to providing highly skilled, multi-layered regional storytelling, according to Rusa Banerjee, Business Head of Bangla ZEE5, who also noted that the moving soundtrack subtly improves the main viewing experience.
