SERVES FOR NATION

News Desk, News Nation 360 : The Tagore Institute of Peace Studies (TIPS), an initiative devoted to scholarly research, discussion, and policy participation in peace and conflict resolution, was started by the Bharat Chamber of Commerce. At the launch in Kolkata, distinguished dignitaries such as Ambassador Anil Wadhwa (IFS, Retd.), Anil Swarup (IAS, Retd.), Sitaram Sharma, Founder President, TIPS, Dr. N.G. Khaitan, Advisor, TIPS, and Naresh Pachisia, President, Bharat Chamber of Commerce, shared their thoughts on the significance of establishing peace as a field of study. The event featured an inaugural session, "Education is Business: But With A Difference," where it was debated how education now has to balance entrepreneurial ambitions with ethical values, innovation and equity. The debate emphasised the crucial role played by education in creating responsible citizens who are of service to society and subscribe to long-term, sustainable growth. The inauguration of TIPS is not just a new school; it is a sign of a new commitment towards peace, meaningful growth, and development. It is in line with the Bharat Chamber of Commerce's efforts to foster meaningful dialogue and bring about inclusive growth through education and active discussion.
