SERVES FOR NATION

News Desk, News Nation 360: Captain Steel, the TMT rebar specialist, debuted its most recent television commercial (TVC) as a major part of a national consumer education campaign. The campaign, which features actor Parambrata Chattopadhyay and brand ambassador and cricket legend Sourav Ganguly, tries to upend the conventionally low-involvement TMT rebar category by making a clear comparison with cement. The story oversimplifies a basic engineering concept: TMT rebars are in charge of a structure's tensile load, whilst cement controls its compressive load, making them equally important for structural soundness. The commercial, which was created by Saatchi & Saatchi India and produced by SISE Films, encourages homeowners to use the same level of scrutiny when choosing steel as they do when choosing cement. Captain Steel's National Head of Marketing and Strategy, Amar Prakash, stressed that the movie is a part of a bigger effort to teach customers about the science of strong building, transforming the product from a back-end commodity to a front-end priority. The ad, which is currently airing on television and digital platforms, highlights the brand's central theme of "Strong Home, Strong Nation," emphasising that every strong building is based on the common strength of its invisible basics.
