News Desk, News Nation 360 : Malabar Group, one of the world's biggest jewellery merchants, held Children's Day activities at its 1531 Micro Learning Centres (MLCs) throughout India. The celebrations were conducted for 60,000 children served by the centres and were led by top representatives and community dignitaries from across the MLC network. The activities began with the distribution of sweets, setting the tone for a day of learning, inclusiveness, and care. The MLCs help impoverished youngsters who have been forced to work or drop out of school owing to social and economic difficulties. Each centre offers one year of age-appropriate primary education and assists children in transitioning back to regular schooling. Parents, local leaders, police, health officials, and Malabar Group teams all attended community festivities at the centres, where children participated in interactive and confidence-building learning activities. The centres promote children's concentration and well-being by providing daily nutrition such as milk, fruits, and eggs, and they hire trained local graduates as teachers, with a ratio of one teacher to forty children. Approximately thirty thousand children have been successfully reintegrated into formal education as a result of these efforts, underlining the importance of the centres in both academic

and personal development. Speaking on the occasion, Malabar Group Chairman M. P. Ahammed said that the initiative connects two essential needs for children: nourishment and learning. A youngster learns best when they feel safe and cared for. Nutrition improves their ability to study, education provides direction, and together they help form a future in which every child can sustain itself with dignity. Their Micro Learning Centres reflect this belief and are a key component of their overall CSR initiatives. The centres are run by the Group's Hunger Free World program, which distributes one lakh five thousand food packages each day in India and also helps communities in Zambia and Ethiopia.
