News Desk, News Nation 360: The Shri Aggarwal Digambar Jain Panchayat Najafgarh recently felicitated Dr Ashar Agarwal, Chief Business Officer at Dr Agarwal's Eye Hospital, on the inauguration of the new branch in Najafgarh, Delhi, for his services and work in spreading awareness about affordable and specialised eye care treatments for the residents in Delhi-NCR. The expert doctor, with more than 20000 surgeries to his credit, an MS gold medalist and Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS) Glasgow, is known to have performed India’s first-ever imported macular buckle surgery and has rich experience as a leading vitreoretinal surgeon. Along with the Panchayat representative Shri Anil Jain, Dr Ashar Agarwal spoke about how, with the opening of this new branch in Najafgarh, the people of the city do not need to go out of their way to places like Dwarka for consultations, diagnostic tests and eye treatments. The Dr Agarwal’s eye hospitals have been rising rapidly all across the country with more than 305 branches in more than 80 cities, helping combat the menace of blindness by providing specialised treatment at the grassroots level.
