Uber Updates Its 20 Lakh+ Indian Earners With New Features

News Desk, News Nation 360: Uber India showcased several driver innovations and safety solutions at the third edition of Uber Pragati to make earning on the platform more flexible, secure and lucrative for driver-partners across India. This includes industry-first solutions like driver-flexible Flexible Drive Passes with varying validity from 6 hours to 180 days, Quickstart for onboarding via WhatsApp, Earn First Pay Later solution with credit facility, Voice Notes for hassle-free communication with riders and a simplified Driver App. To ensure driver and passenger safety, Director of Supply Operations Aditya Kapoor mentioned that in the last four months, Uber has already sent 25 ambulances via Uber’s 24×7 Safety Line, partnered with Dial 4242. Drivers can record their entire ride with end-to-end encryption using Record My Ride. They can also cancel rides without any penalty if there is any inappropriate communication is noticed via real-time chat monitoring. All these solutions are available in one place with Driver Safety Hub in the app. Drivers can earn more through offering Bike Intercity services like Delhi-Meerut, B2B deliveries through Uber Direct, intercity parcel services and even pet-friendly rides through Uber Pet.
