Indusind General Insurance Hires Sharad Mathur as CEO and Managing Director

With over 35 years’ experience in underwriting, digitisation, risk management and growing multi-channel distribution in the Insurance sector, Mathur, who held the position of MD & CEO, Universal Sompo General Insurance for 6 years, and is also the former head of SBI General Insurance and ICICI Lombard, will lead the organisation into its next stage of growth, focusing on digital innovations, customer focus, insurance penetration, underwriting & strong governance. He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Directors and a Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, India.
