The occasion marked the formal launch of East India's first full-scale, purpose-built off-road experience, ushering in a new era of automobile adventure in the region. equipment; all it needed was a place to gather that energy. With the Kolkata Off-Road Carnival, we aimed to provide a safe, scientific and truly thrilling playground for all adventure seekers in the city. This is more than simply an event; it marks the beginning of a new off-road culture in Kolkata, in collaboration with off-road partner Black Top and Beyond and adventure partner Adventure Zone. The Kolkata Off-Road Carnival was graced by eminent personalities from cinema, sports and music, including actress Paoli Dam, former Indian footballers Gautam Sarkar, Bikash Panji, Monoranjan Bhattacharya, Bhaskar Ganguly and Prasanta Banerjee, ex-cricketer Arun Lal, singer Jojo and Adhiraj Singh, Founder of Blacktop & Beyond and Eco Creek Club spokesperson, whose vision drove the event. Their presence converted the flag-off into a joyous citywide celebration. Despite thousands of SUVs lacking controlled exits, the funfair provided enthusiasts with instruction in terrain reading, slope control, mud navigation and obstacle driving under the supervision of trained marshals. Aside from thrill-seeking, it promoted communal solidarity, responsible adventure, and created a new automotive movement, paving the way for off-road tourism from Kolkata to India's mountains, woods, and deserts.
