News Desk, News Nation 360 : Recently, in Kolkata, a noteworthy medical symposium on women's health was held. Prominent medical professionals from a range of specialities, including gynaecology, orthopaedics, dermatology, and oncology, attended the event and exchanged insightful opinions on topics impacting women's physical and mental health. The event was managed by Launcherz Public Relations & Events. JIMS Hospital was the official health partner. The Princeton Club was the venue, food, and hospitality partner for the night. The expert panel had some specialists on board. They were Brigadier (Dr) Barun Datta, Orthopaedic Consultant at RN Tagore Hospital. Others on the panel were Dr Neha Choudhary, Senior Consultant in Breast Oncology at Narayana Health, and Dr Debojyoti Tapadar, Professor and HOD, Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, JIMSH. Dr Aniruddha Ghosh, Professor, Department of Dermatology, JIMSH, was also among the panellists. Dr Krishna Poddar, Director, Kolkata Pain & Spine Centre, and Dr Anjula Binaykia, Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Laparoscopic surgeon, joined the panel as well. Each of them brought essential insights from their respective areas of expertise. They emphasised collaborative care models. This is to integrate holistic women's health. Every specialist discussed urgent health concerns affecting women these days. These included orthopaedic problems and breast cancer education, to dermatologic conditions and reproductive health. There was good attendance by health workers and community members. The theme revolved around holistic care for women. Early diagnosis, prevention, and speciality care were highlighted.
