News Desk, News Nation 360 : With the opening of its first centre in Kolkata, Globalart, the globally recognised children's creative art program, made its debut in Eastern India. Subrata Gangopadhyay, an Indian contemporary artist; Sudeshna Roy, a well-known filmmaker; Dinesh Victor, the founder and managing director of SIP Academy; Namrata Mukherjee, the business head of Globalart India; Yogesh Dassani, the state head of West Bengal; and other notable guests graced the launch. This milestone further solidifies Globalart's position as India's biggest and most reputable chain of art centres, with its location at Lake Market in the city hub. SIP Academy India, which also operates SIP Abacus, the top abacus program in the nation, is home to Globalart.

Speaking at the launch, Dinesh Victor, Founder & Managing Director of SIP Academy, stated that the ability to think creatively is now necessary, not optional. Children are prepared for a better future by employing art as a medium that fosters creativity and instils vital life skills. The future requires creative minds for a variety of fascinating job options, as well as for art. Globalart now has 23 countries as its operational base and has established a robust presence in India with 150 centres in seven states, giving training to more than 1,00,000 children in the past 20 years, reflecting its contribution to creative learning. One of the unique aspects of Globalart's presence in India is that 145 of the 150 centres are run by women entrepreneurs, reflecting the company's focus on the empowerment of women through learning and creativity opportunities. Numerous alumni have set up thriving careers in design, animation, fashion, visual arts and allied disciplines, a testament to the program's transformative power. With its current initiatives, Globalart is dedicated to giving children throughout Kolkata an opportunity to foster their imagination, creative thoughts, self-expression and belief, equipping them to face the fast-changing world ahead. The company has revealed aggressive expansion plans of opening 30 new centres in Eastern India within the next three years as part of its growth plan to increase its footprint across more cities and towns, encourage entrepreneurship, and provide more children the opportunity to learn through its world-class creative curriculum.
