GSMA Board has Nominated Gopal Vittal as its Acting Chair

News Desk, News Nation 360 : After José Maria Álvares-Pallete, Chairman & CEO of Telefónica, resigned from the company, Gopal Vittal, Vice Chairman & MD of Bharti Airtel and Deputy Chair of GSMA, was named Acting Chair of the GSMA board. He is no longer qualified to serve as the GSMA Chair as a result of this resignation. Gopal just won a second term as the GSMA board's deputy chair. During the 2019–2020 term, he was also a significant member of the board. With more than 1100 businesses from the global telecom ecosystem, including telecom service providers, manufacturers of phones and devices, software developers, equipment suppliers, internet companies, and businesses in related industries, GSMA represents the global telecommunications sector.
