SERVES FOR NATION
News Desk, News Nation 360: With the opening of India's first Chhota Bheem Cafe in the posh business district of Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, Green Gold Animation has formally entered the experiential hospitality market through a strategic corporate relationship with the EBG Group. Families can dine with their favourite animated characters, such as Chhota Bheem, Chutki, Raju, and Jaggu, at the flagship themed outlet, which is designed as a trailblazing destination for children's wellness and family entertainment. The iconic, mythical village of Dholakpur is brought off the television screen and into a real, biophilic space. The cafe was created with a strong commitment to reducing childhood obesity and enhancing juvenile dietary metrics, particularly in view of recent National Family Health Survey (NFHS-6) data showing that only 15.3% of Indian toddlers receive an adequate diet. It offers a special menu that cleverly health-optimises children's favourites, including millet-based pizzas and burgers, nutrient-dense snacks, and the show's famous, healthy Power Laddoos. In addition to on-site interactive programs like the Junior Chef Quest—a supervised cooking program designed to foster teamwork, creativity, and culinary confidence in young minds—the brand has launched a fresh Bento Box subscription service that delivers balanced school meals in order to incorporate nutrition into everyday routines outside of the restaurant. Supported by an initial capital investment of ₹50 crores, Green Gold Animation CEO Rajiv Chilaka and EBG Group Chairman Dr. Irfan Khan unveiled an ambitious phased expansion blueprint to launch 25 company-owned and franchised outlets across Tier 1 cities within the first year, aiming for 50 national centers over the next three years while generating over 500 direct and indirect jobs, ensuring strict FSSAI food safety compliance, and ultimately laying the foundation to transition their extensive animation IP portfolio into everyday public storytelling and sustainable family hospitality.
