ibis Kolkata Rajarhat Celebrates International Women's Day by Honouring Women in Uniform Beyond Boundaries

News Desk, News Nation 360 : The ibis Kolkata Rajarhat proudly presented Women in Uniform: Beyond Boundaries, a unique Women's Day Celebration event. About six outstanding women in uniform were honoured and felicitated at the event, along with distinguished guests from various industries, including Indira Mukherjee, Deputy Commissioner of Police of Bidhannagar; Dr Rupali Basu, Managing Director of Woodlands Hospital; Dr Sushmita Roy Chowdhury, Director Pulmonology, MBBS, MD, FRCP (Edin); HERMES Diplomate; Doma Wang, Owner The Blue Poppy Thaali; Captain Samridhi Mahajan, Junior First Officer at IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation Ltd). The event was hosted by Divya Agarwal, Owner of Eventech, and Shalini Srivastava, Influencer. Beyond their accomplishments, women in uniform have a positive social impact by improving team performance and creating a more just and encouraging environment. By recognising the indispensable contributions made by women in uniform, tackling systemic obstacles, and promoting inclusivity, they can effectively utilise their potential and create a more promising and equitable future for everybody. Amita Mishra stated that the rise of women in historically male-dominated fields—especially those that call for uniforms—signifies a substantial advancement towards social change and gender equality. Their growing number not only adds diversity to the workforce but also acts as a source of inspiration and empowerment for upcoming generations. On this Women's Day, they are honoured to invite and recognise these brave and honourable women.
