News Desk, News Nation 360 : Iconic Event Planner organised a captivating photographic show that opened at Kolkata's famed Gallery Gold. The day after the inauguration saw the announcement of the first-ever photography competition results as part of that show. A function held by Iconic Event Planner commemorated the announcement of the results of a photography contest, which was graced by faces such as Anupam Halder, Joint Commissioner of the Revenue Department of the Ministry of Finance, Government of West Bengal; Sathi Sarkar, Director of Iconic
Iconic Event Planner, International Chess Grandmaster Dibyendu Barua, businessman Kunal Saha, producer Nitul Saha, social worker Soumya Shekhar, and Achintya Laha, Secretary of the Coffee House Committee. The competition had winners in various categories: In the Landscape Category, Pradyut Kumar Dey was first, with Sharad Mansarmani and Arijit Dey second and third. For the People & Street Category, Prithul Das was first, with Samir Pal and Ratan Sinha in second and third positions. Chandan Sarkar was first in the Wildlife Category, followed by Amitabh Nandi and Dr. Jayashree Pal in second and third positions. In the Portrait Section, first prize went to Bishwadip Mukherjee, with Pradipta Dasgupta and Francis Nayak coming second. All award-winning and competing photographers were rewarded with certificates and prizes. The occasion, at Gallery Gold, was featured as a special example of the respect for art and imagination, effectively creating a buzz in its inaugural year and bringing talent from Bengal and India into the limelight.
