News Desk, News Nation 360 : The Indian Leather Products Association (ILPA) has announced that it will organise the ILPA Fashion Show- Leather on the Ramp 2025 in Kolkata. The fashion show will be a highlight of the international B2B exhibition AILPA 2025, which will be organised by ILPA and will welcome over 60 international buyers from top global businesses. This year's fashion show will highlight innovative designs, ecological fashion, and the utilisation of modern materials like fabrics and rattan. Tejas Gandhi, a well-known designer, will show off his most recent creations on the runway, while nine top exporters from Kolkata, India's leather goods powerhouse, will showcase their special collections. The 2025 edition will highlight eco-leather, sustainable fashion, and premium partnerships, demonstrating the industry's dedication to innovation and ethical production. Leather on the Ramp 2025 will showcase craftsmanship and innovation while also promoting Indian leather products as globally competitive and forward-thinking. The All India Leather Products Association (AILPA) Fair 2025, organised from October 28 to 30 at the Biswa Bangla Exhibition Centre in Kolkata, is going to highlight the creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation transforming India's leather and fashion landscape. In addition to its highly awaited fashion show, the fair will include live demonstrations, interactive workshops, and panel discussions by top designers, exporters, and world industry leaders. These sessions try to encourage productive discussion on sustainability, design innovation, and future trends and encourage collaborations that stimulate skill development and youth empowerment in the industry. AILPA has also instituted specialised vocational training and upskilling programs in collaboration with local and foreign institutions to develop talent and facilitate technology transfer, capacity building, and future workforce development. With more than 200 manufacturers and exporters represented by AILPA, the association is a critical player in fortifying India's export potential — a market that is set to grow beyond USD 6 billion by 2025–26 — and creating thousands of job opportunities in production, design, and retail. This year's fashion presentation will highlight sustainable leather artistry, luxury accessories, and technology-infused fashion to reinforce AILPA's dedication to environmental and socially responsible expansion through CSR activities in green practice, youth development training, and community development.
